Student assistants for Edge Computing Teaching Lab

The Bremen Spatial Cognition Center is looking for 1-2 motivated student assistants and/or tutors for the development of the new interdisciplinary and international Edge Computing Teaching Lab. The Edge Computing Teaching Lab is a joint effort between the University of Bremen (Faculty 1 Electrical Engineering and Faculty 3 Informatics) and Mahidol University, Bangkok, Thailand. It will cover topics on embedded computing, communication networks, edge computing, machine learning and data science. It is scheduled to be held for the first time in the summer semester 2022. We are looking for motivated students with some background in one or more of the above areas to assist us with the preparation of the teaching materials. Ideally, student assistants / tutors will assist with recording and cutting videos, development of lab exercises, development of a website to host the materials, etc. Contracts are available for 30-60 hours per month for 6 months, preferably starting in November 2021. Later start is also possible (until the positions are filled).
